October!

Oh October!!! It has come and gone so fast! October is the month that life starts to get busy. It brings so many new and exciting things. When October hits, the leaves start to change and fall, the snow makes it's first appearance, the crafting side of me really comes out, the house gets decorated, the coats comes out, weird transactions in the closets, and most of all, the weight gain begins!!
This was my lates project. It is so dang cute and really not that complicated! If I can do it, you can too. My friend Ashley and I went and bought these letters at Wood Connection and just used homemade Modge Pog (2/3 c. Elmers glue, 1/3 c. water), scrapbook paper, paint, and glitter! We are planning on doing one for Thanksgiving and Christmas!

This is Bailey's punk rocker outsit. She has started giving me these frowny faces and then when I give one back to her she puts her head down and smiles while acting shy. It's so cute!

I bought Bailey this back pack for our Florida trip in 2 weeks. I think she is adorable how she just keeps it on and will walk about the house. She lookes like such a big girl, ready for school :)

So the start of October I bought her the pumpkin basket. Everytime we went for walks, she would bring her basket and pick up everyones fall leaving in their grass. It was so funny. Then we had to bring the leaves home and show them off. When she went to bed I would throw them away and we would start over the next day.

Bailey has gotten just enough hair to put little pig tails in. This has only happened once!! She is not a girly girl and runs away from me when I try to get near her hair. These only lasted about 2 mins then they were gone. It was a valid effort though! Now she just looks like she had a mullet!

Ashley and I also dressed up our girls this month and had a Fall photo shoot. I made this tutu for Bailey. Also, so easy!! Elastic, 4 1/2 yards of toule, and Wallaaaa....a cute Tutu! We went to a pumpkin patch and they girls weren't very cooperative! I have some good pics but Ashley has then on her camera!

Then we met up with Katy, Jason, and Kya and went to Thanksgiving point for a good ol time! Bailey and Kya are already BFF's. They had all sorts of fun things for the kids and Adults to do.

Family Photo

They had this jumping pad on the ground....SO MUCH FUN!! I was laughing so hard I had a sore throat at the end. The girls loved it and so did we! I'm glad I haven't completely grown up so I can still play and have fun :)

Bailey loved the cow train. Notice how I had to oil my legs and hips to fit!! Ya, not meant for big hipped mommas :)

Bailey in her cowgirl hat and tutu, she was running around saying, "Yee haw!"

Then the snow came about 2 weeks ago. It only lasted a few hours, just long enough to play in it! I took Bailey out in her Jammies and coat. The first thing she did was sit down and eat it!

This is her frowny face again. Notice how I taught her how to put the olives on her fingers. She got such a tickle out of that!

Yea! Then Halloween came! I have been waiting 6 years to have an excuse to go back out trick or treating! I worked until 5am Saturday morning, so when I woke up, I went to craft day for church, then Bailey went down for a nap, then we got dressed and ready in our costumes and headed out to our first Halloween Party. Then to the Grandparents for visiting and trick or treating. It had rained real hard and was freezing so Bailey didn't last that long. Then we went to another Party, then back home for some more trick or treating. She liked it much better the 2nd time around. We got home and traditionally, I poured out the candy and we all took our turn picking out which pieces we wanted :) Bailey got shafted...shhh, dont tell her :)
Aww, a family of scare crows...CUTE!

She was more interested in the umbrella than she bucket of candy!
Every house we went to she tried to push past the people and go into their homes. haha
Good thing she is cute!
Bailey is such a joy to have around. She makes me laugh so much each day. She also makes me want to pull my hair out too, oh wait, she does that for me. I love watching her learn and grow, but with that comes frustration while in public places. Bailey is also showing her independance by never wanting to eat!! She loves to play with the food instead. She loves to dance, play with any size of ball, push her stroller or shopping carts, scream, walk around with a pretend pen and paper, play in the extra water in the dishwater, good at napping and sleeping at night for the moment, loves to do anything that grown ups do.
Oh yes, we put her on the Big potty the other day and read her a book, all of a sudden, she started going Potty! Kyle and I were so amazed, she shouted!!! It scared that pee away and she started screaming and tried jumping off the toilet! It was so awesome but now she is kinda scared to get back on, so back to square 1. haha
Bailey, Mommy and Daddy love you! Thanks for the good time thus far. Muaw ;}
