Christmas 08

Merry Christmas everyone!!! So my dad got in town last Sunday and stayed with Heidi and Morgan for the first few days. Then on Christmas Eve they all came over to do our gift exchanges and have our old tradition of Stouffers lasagna. MmmMmmm. Then Heidi and Morgan headed to Beaver, UT (where he is from) and we finished our shopping. Christmas morning the boys woke up early while I got every moment of sleep I could, we put in a roast, and then opened gifts around noon. Here are all our many presents. I went way over budget this year. After that, we ate our yummy roast, and then went out to Kyles land and took a tube and knee board out along with the four wheelers and had a blast. Here are the pictures of the days. Sunday night we will be having our Christmas with my mother. Oh Boy!!!

This is a big ol icicle that was hanging out of our drain. Pretty cool.

This is my cute husband opening his Wii!!!! He waws soooo excited! :)

Christmas Pictures

Well Kyle and I are slackers and have been wanting to send out Christmas cards but we didn't have any cute pictures. So I called my sister Heidi and her husband Morgan yesterday and asked if they wanted to go take pictures up the canyon where there was some snow. It was FREEZY although you couldn't really tell in the pics. We would run and take our coats off, snap the picture, and then run back to our coats. It was lots of fun b/c Kyle and I haven't had any pictures of us taken in a long time. Heidi and Morgan got really cute ones too of them and their cute lil dog but those are on her camera. Then we went back to the house and made some yummy dinner and just hung out. Thanks you guys for being so willing on such short notice. But heres the pictures we got. (they look like engagements but shhh....)

Well this one actually really hurt. Haha, I guess I haven't tested my strength lately but when I tried to lift my feet off the ground, it felt like my insides ripped from off my stomach lining. lol. That explains the face.

Oh...If you do want a Christmas card it might still get to you in time. Please comment and leave your address. Even if I already have it, I have probably lost it already. Thanks.

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas..

So Kyle and I decided it was time to go pick out a Christmas tree. We wanted to go cut a fresh one down last weekend but we had to do our family Thanksgiving instead. So we drove down to the end of our street and went searching. After many rounds through all the trees, I finally found the one that spoke out to me. lol. It was marked $39.99 (which by the way is so much cheaper than what we ever paid in FL for a tree). Well, the person I am, I negotiated and we settled and bought the tree for $29.99. Here are some pictures....
So we got it home and had many words about this lovely tree. For the life of us, we could not make it stand straight in the tree stand. Don't worry Kyle...Life goes on, haha, and we finally GOT IT!
So I bought the lights with white wire which is so not allowed on a green tree. I also did not buy enough so we had to make a late night run to Walgreens for more lights. This quick tree event turned into an all nighter. But I was very excited to top the tree with my Precious Moments angel.
I know its cheesy, but from the time I was little I have always liked Precious Moments so last year I went and stole all moms ornaments and I found her as the tree topper.

I think the tree ended up so dang pretty. I love the red, green, and white lights. Thanks Kyle for putting up with me:)

So Kyle had a WONDERFUL time trying to put lights up. hahahahahaha. This is the first time we have had a house so I wanted lights of course. Well, I once again didn't buy enought lights so half way through the process.....another trip to Walgreens. Man, that place loves us. They do look wonderful though and it feels like Christmas now in our home.

P.S. It did snow today which was so fun to see. This will be my very 1st cold, maybe White christmas of my whole life. Wahoooo, I will try not to start anymore fires :)

Merry Christmas everyone!!
