Bailey's Birthday Bash

June 30th was Bailey's 1st Birthday!! I was way more excited than she was. I started planning her birthday party at the start of the year. haha. So on her actual birthday, I had just picked up a cupcake at the store for her and we had a little celebration. This was her covering her ears while we sang her Happy Birthday! Ha, I guess we were THAT awful!
She was having a blast getting all dirty!

She's like, "Okay Mom, we almost done with the Ooo's and Awww's?"

All right guys, Now I'm REALLY bored!
So that night we just went and played softball and had a nice little evening.
July 3rd was her big Birthday Bash! We went to the near by church field and had a good ol time. My friend Cheryl made the ADORABLE cake! It was a huge hit. Then we had a potluck and hung out. Followed by some sand volleyball, horseballs, and frisbie throwing. It was a nice relaxing day at the park and Bailey skipped her naps and was still so pleasant. We put her to bed that night and then all ran back over to the pavillion and sat and watched the 4th of July Fireworks from the Stadium of Fire. Great day! Bailey will think the Fireworks are for her birthday every year. How special :)

Of coarse I had to buy her a fire truck :)

My Best Friend!

I just want to thank Bailey Mae for being my best friend. I want to do nothing more but play with the coolest girl I know, and that is my beautiful daughter. I find myself excited to wake up in the morning to go get Bailey out of bed, and PLAY!!! She is so fun, happy, and exciting. She can bring a smile to anyone's face. She lights up a room as soon as I bring her in. She learns more and more everyday. She is very much a momma's girl and loves to give me lovings. She gives me escimos, butterflies, and wide open mouth kisses.

I handed her my brush, just to play with and she brushed her hair. I have never even taught her there. She has probably only seen me do that a few times. Crazy how they learn so fast.

She is a great performer. She snaps her fingers so well now.

She LOVED the parade this weekend.

She give her momma the biggest smiles when I walk in the door.

She will be a year old in 2 weeks!!!!!

I love her so much and I'm so glad she is my best friend!!

In to Everything!!!

Bailey is 10 1/2 months now and she is into everything! This age is exciting, fun, funny, exhausting, adventurous, bonking heads, tears, and much much more!!
She has many new tricks and learns and picks up so quickly on things. Now is the time I have to start being careful of the things I say and do.
Things she does:
Waves Hello and Bye-bye to everyone
Says...Tadah!! and throws her hands above her head
Oh....No...and throws her hands on her ears
Tries to snap her fingers
Sticks her tongue in and out and says, blah blah blah
Uses her finger to flip her bottom lip
Finally crawls on her hands and knees instead of her army scoot
Walks along furniture
Can almost run while holding onto fingers
Sits and plays with her stuffed animals in the crip
Usually sleeps 12 hr nights and takes 2, 2 hr naps daily
still Squeels as loud as possible
Loves attention
Will finally eat baby jar foods instead of homemade
Best crumb finder and kitchen floor mopper
Knows how to drink from a cup and big girl sippy cups
Refuses to make diaper changes easy
Tries to eat her toes and still can't bc her belly is so dang big
Hates getting dressed
Man, the list can go on and on and on.
I will stop. If you want to know more, you just have to come visit her and see for yourself!
She picked these clothes out one by one. Hey, it keeps her busy while I'm trying to cook dinner!!
This is her sippy cup/bottle drawer. She will pick up each one, suck on it, and then throw it to the ground. She gets so excited! I love her personality already.

This was a while back when my dad was in town. We put the skirt on her head and she SQUEELs soooooo loud!! But then turns and smiles at you. Lil stinker.

This was at church on Sunday. Bailey is down with crawling and now wants to walk everywhere. She hates to be held b/c she just wants to walk like a big girl! She is so dang cute, I'm sorry!!

Bailey and I love Mornings together. She usually wakes up and I make a bottle and bring her in bed. Thats where I change her very wet diapers and then we play for a good 30 mins in bed. We look out the windows and watch the birds fly, the leaves swaying, and the cars driving by.
Heidi and I threw mom a surprise 60th birthday bash! Thats right, she's 60!!!! I called some of my friends and a few of hers and we ate food, played Chinese jumprope, and Gestures. lol, Pretty fun for an old lady party :)

When Dad was in town he took all of us to a Jazz playoff game! We had a babysitter and we had the night to laugh, cheer, and play. It was so fun to get out and enjoy ourselves. Thanks Dad!! Oh, there was also a fight right in front of us and a guy got thrown and ALMOST flew over the balcony and would have plummitted to his death. Lucky, he hit the edge and fell back safely.

Daddy is usually in charge of bath time with Bailey since he struggles putting her down to bed. They are so cute and Bailey just loves her baths.

!Spring!

Oh how I LOVE the warm weather!

  • Things I love:
    Waking up to birds chirping
Falling asleep with the windows open
Car rides with windows wide open
    Walking outside with Bailey
Showing her all the beautiful things in the world
    Sun bathing!!!!!
    Soon trips to the pool
    Flying Kites
    Smell of fresh cut grass
  • Bar-B-Q's

  • The beautiful flowers that spring up
(Kyle was such a sweetheart and when I was at work, he did hours of yard work and I came home to a beautiful flower garden, with a special gerber daisy in the middle, he's so great!)
Lying in the grass on a nice warm day with my family!

Bailey is so funny these days. She is no longer an infant, but now a toddler. Time has flown and I have enjoyed these latter months. She definatly has a personality on her. She may look like a Johnson, but she is totally a Wiley! She loves attention and if she is not getting it...she will SCREAM until someone gives it to her. Then she will just turn and smile. She is getting into EVERYTHING! And she's fast.
Her favorite room is the bathroom b/c she know's she is not suppose to be in there. She's the best crumb picker upper ever, and when she crawls, she will squeel until she gets to her momma.
She loves all food, will never hold still for diaper changes, but loves her baths. She is a pain to put to bed, but take 2, 2 hr naps (usually).
She pulls herself up on everything, and takes many bonks to the head.
She says momma, dadda, ni nigh, ba ba, hi fiv, hi dad, and lots more babbles.
She now talks to herself when she plays with toys.
Thinks everything deserves a clap and waves at everyone.
Has a very high, ear piercing squeel that comes with NO warning.
Has adult sized bowel movements.

(Bailey has a new favorite place to play. Like I said, she's into EVERYTHING!!)

Fun in Florida!!

Kyle, Bailey, and I took a much needed vacation to Florida last week. We always try to make it in March b/c it is our Anniversary and Spring Training. We arrived Tuesday night the 9th and met up with all my family that is left living in FL, and we ate at Sweet Tomotoes. After dinner, we made the drive to Kississimee where we used Kyle's parents time share. The place was really nice and it actually felt like we had gone on vacation instead of just hopping around house to house visiting with people. We woke up Wednesday morning and thought it would be a great idea to drive to Daytona Beach.

Well, we didn't realize until we got there that it was Spring Break and Daytona is one of the most famous beaches to celebrate!!! We saw many things we have never seen before and it definately made for a fun time at the beach. We actually made it on the news because there were so many beach brawls, and one happened to break out right by our car. lol.

We then went to Daytona 500 race track and Kyle was in Heaven!
We drove back to the hotel and had Michele and Roger come stay with us that night. We took Bailey night swimming and she loved it!

We hung out that night, went to bed, and then woke up the next morning and headed over to Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure. It started raining and we were nervous about going but the weather worked out perfect and kept the lines very short. We upgraded our tickets and went to both parks and were done with both by 3:00pm. We got in our car and drove off and the rain started pouring. Just in time!
Then we went to Ponderosa for dinner and then walked around Old Towne. Michele started feeling sick and started throwing up. They ended up leaving in the middle of the night and Michele landed herself in the ER with food poisoning/gall bladder attack. Needless to say, we will never eat at Ponderosa again.
So we woke up Friday morning and it was still raining. We didn't let that damper our day so we put on our ponchos and went for a walk through the nature trail.

This is Baileys new funny face. She thinks she is so funny and pipes off that smile and makes everyone laugh.

Then we tried to take her swimming in the rain and it was just toooooo cold! We ended up going into our huge jetted tub and making our own hot tube.
Saturday we left the hotel in Kississmee and drove to Seminole. We had lunch with Kelli, visited with Shannan Tyson and her momma, and then we headed out to the beach. The weather was around 60's-70's and really windy so we couldn't enjoy the sun as much as we had hoped.
But we bucked up and had fun anyways.
This was Bailey's first time on a beach and she was loving life. We gave her a shell, and of course, went straight into her mouth, followed by handfuls of sand. Oh well!!

We headed back to Micheles that night and had Sam, Jackie, and Kamryn come over for a game of Cornhole and Smores by the fire. We stayed up until the wee hours of the night talking, and freezing our butts off outside, but had tons of fun!!
Sunday we headed down to Ft. Myers for the Red Sox vs Mets Spring Training game. Weather was beautiful this day and we all got fried, including poor Bailey's little arms. Everyone called her a boy this day but Kyle was still proud of his little girl in her Red Sox gear.

Sunday night we headed back and stayed the night with Tiffeny and the girls. They LOVED Bailey so much and all had a blast together. I have never heard Bailey laugh so hard and she did when the girls were playing with her.
Monday we went to Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks and met up with Alicia for lunch.
Then headed to Fred Howard beach and it was FREEZING!! Kyle and the girls were brave and even got in the water, while Tiff, Dad, Bailey and I sat on the beach completly wrapped up in towels, shivvering.
That night we went to CiCi's pizza and then spent the rest of the night bowling. Yes, I worked EVERYONE! hahah, had to show all the boys up :)

Tuesday came way too soon and we had to say goodbye to everyone. We had so much fun hanging with Taylor and Aliyah. They were such good helpers and awesome cousins to Bailey. I can't wait until we can see them again.
We spent the last few hours of our time in Fl at Clearwater Beach!! Best beach in the world.
Again, it was really chilly so we were all bundled up. Bailey loved her first swing ride and she giggled everytime she went up b/c it tickled her belly.
Oh, the famous turtle on Clearwater. I have many pictures with this turtle.

Bailey loving the so so soft sand. She didn't eat it that time tho.
We had a wonderful vacation to Florida and I almost convinced Kyle to move back. It was so nice to see and visit with so many people and to let Bailey see and explore new things. We plan on headed back to Florida next April for a wedding!!??
We got home from Florida and 2 days later was our 4 year anniversary. We celebrated low key and had Kyles mom come watch Bailey while we went on a little date. It's crazy that I have been with Kyle for over 5 years now. He is the best husband I could ask her. He puts up with me so well, even when I'm being annoying :) I love you Kyle and thanks for all you do. Kyle is a wonderful father as well and loves his little girl. I am so blessed to have both of them in my life!!
