March 2011

March was a good and busy month.

It started with Heidi's surprise party (didn't take pictures, too busy surprising) We had some friends over and played Wii and Would you Rather! lol

Then I took Bailey to Disney on Ice (can't find those pictures, haha)

This picture was our Fun Bus trip to Wendover. It actually happened in February though. This was our Valentine's Date...How romantic! haha All of us jumped on a Le Bus and drove out to Wendover. The bus was actually clean and smelled nice, even for sitting in the back by the bathroom. You pay $15 and that gets you out there and back, $5 cash back for gambling, a FREE buffet (worth $25) and you get to play Bingo. I can't think of a better date night. We all had a blast and it was a good no child get-a-way!

Then I threw Annalee a Baby Shower! She was about 35 weeks pregnant and looking so good. We had a wonderful turn out and lots of yummy food and wonderful gifts! This is the good ol "group". We have had some GOOD times!

Then my dad came out to babysit Bailey while Kyle and I celebrated our 5 year Anniversary. How wonderful that was. It was my first time leaving Bailey for more than 12 hours. Don't worry, I cried half way to Vegas. We made a much needed stop in St. George to visit with my Bestie Allie and her boyfriend. We had to play a round of golf and show my skills to her semi-pro golfer boy ;) I think he was impressed. We went back to his house and watched BYU in the playoffs, then headed into Vegas.
Us with Allie and her Lover!

So we got into Vegas and bought the Buffet pass. You can eat at any buffet for 24 hours. We had to get our money's worth so we ate at 4 buffets...in 24 hours!!!
This is at the Paris eating our WONDERUL breakfast!

Here we are at the Ceasers Palace. The nicest one by far!
After celebrating our 5th Year anniversary we came home to my dad and Bailey. My dad said she was a jem the whole time we were gone. As soon as she got back, she was a lil brat! She went through about 3 days and cranky girl cuz she was so upset we left her.

2 short weeks later, we took off to Florida. We left March 30 so I will post that in Aprils post.
Here is Bailey trying on her new Sunny Florida hat, that she hardly got to use.

Our newest Family addition!

Sorry....I'm not pregnant!
But we did buy a new TV!!!!
Kyle was complaining that I wanted to save our money from tax returns. He said we needed to do something BIG with the $$. I argued that our TV worked fine and we don't need a new one until it stops working. So that clever brain of his went to work. He decided to go through our garage and take photos of all the things we didn't need anymore and put them for sale on KSL. Well.....we have a few more things to sell but Kyle earned enough money to pay for the TV and the new entertainment center to go along with it! See....I still won b/c we are still putting our Tax return money in Savings :)
I love tricking men to think they won at the end.
We bought a Visio 47" LCHD
He said we either go BIG or go home!

P.S. It kinda looks small in this picture.
P.S.S. I do really like it!!! Watching the Bachelor last night was AMAZING!!! People are so much better looking when you can actually see their eyes and mouth.

Jan/Feb

New Year:

January came and went so fast. I swear, the older you get, the faster time flies. Bailey is now 19 1/2 months. She is crazy, funny, love-able, sweet, happy, and can bring a smile to ANYONES face. She has the personality that is love at first site. She knows lots of tricks such as:
Touchdown
You're Out
Safe!!
Knuckles
Snaps
E.T. phone home
Dribble, dribble, SHOOT
Ready, Set, GO
1...2...3!
Hurry Hurry
Shake your booty
Shimmy
Summersaults
Head shoulder knees and toes
and the list continues.
Bailey entered Nursery the start of the year and I thought life was just so wonderful!! I had one week in church where I actually went to class and got to interact like a normal adult. That came to a screaching hault when they came over the next week and called Kyle and I to teach the 3 year old Sunbeams!!! REALLY? Kyle was so bummed to leave the Young Mens. Sunbeams is challenging and now we are back to being parents of 7 children, instead of out 1!!!
Oh well, with challenges, come blessings.

Now it's Febuary! We are still looking for jobs for Kyle. He has applied to HUNDREDS, in state and out, and still Nothing! So frusterating. I hate this stupid lack of job crap! I am now officially going stir crazy being cooped up in the house for what.....5 months now! I can see why sunshine is so important to the happiness of your well being. I have found new things to do with our daily time.

We also emjoyed Katy's little girl, Kya's 1st birthday party on Saturday. She was so cute and Bailey loved all the kids to play with, when she wasn't pushing them around.

Bailey looks like her father but definetly has the Wiley personality.

Yes!! I can finally fit two pig tails in her hair. She hates them, but I like them :)

Christmas!!

Christmas is truly the best time of year! This Christmas especially! The difference was Bailey. Every other Christmas is focused on what I'm giving and what I'm recieving. All about me :) This one, I could have cared less what Santa brought me. Bailey was sooooo fun and awesome to watch. I was so excited for her and Kyle and I loved every minute of it.

We started the season off by going up to Wyoming to cut down a Christmas tree. I was being very picky b/c they didn't look like the ones I have always had. So with minutes to spare before sundown we found a tree!! Once we got home from the 2 hour drive in freezing weather, half of the tree dissappeared. Oh well, we had a good time and make memories :)

We finally found a patch of "Christmas trees"

Bailey enjoyed helping us decorate the tree and I think it fulfilled her curiousity because she didn't really mind the tree after that!

We went to Kyle's parents house for Christmas Eve. We had a yummy dinner, watched The Nativiy Movie, and then opened gifts. Santa really went big this year! We got a Garmin GPS which I am sooo excited for, b/c I'm ALWAYS lost!

Attempted Family photo

Bailey got a Singamagig that she loves!

Christmas morning, Santa brought her a HUGE Mickey Mouse. She was so funny. She loves him to much.

Daddy helping her with her dollies and stroller.

She got a broom and went straight to the kitchen to start sweeping!

Don't mind the dark circles under my eyes. Kyle is sporting his new coat!
Few weeks later:

My oldest brother Adam and his girlfriend came out to visit. It was so good to see them and actually have some One on one time with Adam. By the time I remebered him, he had moved out of the house and was in the Army. We had a lot of fun together and even though my family is different, we know how to have some fun :)

Bailey on her horsey that Graum-mom gave her for Christmas

Ashley and Jake came down for New Years and we had game night and took the girls sledding. It was about 20 degrees and freezing outside but we still had some fun!
This is Brynn and Bailey.

Bailey wasn't too sure about all this! haha

Brynn just chilled the whole time, it was Bailey causing all the fuss.

This is how Bailey preferred sledding. We would send her down head first and she would go real fast and then start laughing. Thats my girl! Fast and Furious!!
That is how we ended our 2010. It was a GREAT year and I can't wait to have another one!
