Valentines

So Kyle and I decided we weren't going to do much for each other this year for Valentines seeing how we have to pay a fortune in taxes this year. I told him to just take me on a nice simple date on Friday night. So when I jumped in the shower Kyle took off and he came back at 6:30 to pick me up. He rung the doorbell and he had a huge balloon which was a recordable one to say a message and a bouquet of flowers and a sinlge rose for his little baby valentine :) We just went out to dinner at Brick Oven and then came home and attempted to watch The Notebook which didn't last long b/c we both fell asleep at 9:30. Then on Saturday (actual V-day) we had a bunch of people over from 7-peaks for a nice Italian dinner. We thought it would be easier and more fun to do it this way instead of standing in lines forever for an over priced meal. So we had everyone bring a portion of the dinner and I made Lasagna, salad, and garlic bread with lots of dessert to follow. It was delicious!!!! After we all just hung out and played Wii.

Update...

Sorry guys...I promised an update after the ultrasound and then never gave one. So we went to the doctors and went straight in for the ultrasound. The lady tried to go straight to the baby's crotch to let us know if it was a boy or girl (she didn't know that we already knew the sex). Well, it being my child, she was being stubborn and didn't want to open her legs to let us take a peep. So we continued with the ultrasound and made sure all the measurements were on tract and that the baby did look great. We kept going back and forth to the bum and face b/c she wouldn't take her hands down from her face either. Anyways, we were poking around at her so she would move and let us get a good shot of both. Finally we were able to get the shots we wanted, but apparently she wasn't too excited about us poking her. The lady printed off the pictures of our beautiful baby girl and this was the very first picture we saw........
She definately has my blood!!!

Yep...that is her flipping her parents off!! Can't wait to meet this little ball of fire. hahaha
Here are some pictures of my sister and I. Yes, this is a recent picture and the explaination of the tree being up still is b/c we still hadn't had Christmas with my mother yet so Heidi kept her tree up until we had Christmas. This was last sunday and mom was running a late so we still didn't have christmas. lol. But I am 20 weeks here in this picture so here is my nice and plump forming belly :)

Half way there!

So I am officially 20 weeks pregnant and it has seemed like an eternity. Life is good now though!! The sickness is for the most part gone but on occasion, I will get a little relapse of it which I would totally take any day over what I was going through. I have more energy, I love my husband again (I was just so cranky all the time, NOT your fault honey, it was all me), and I do like being pregnant now. I can now feel when she is moving. It was hard to determine if it was her moving or just a little gas (we all know me and my problems) haha but it is very exciting to now feel a child moving inside me. It blows my mind that a real human being is being developed as we speak. What a miracle and such a blessing to be a woman. I used to hate being a girl.....now I love it. hahaha. We go for our normal 20 weeks appointment tomorrow and I get to see her on the screen again. I'm so excited to see my little baby girl moving around and see how she's changed. Kyle is doing good. We went baby shopping the other day and he now realizes that babies aren't so cheap. They take LOTS of $$$$$. Anyways, lifes great. I will update tomorrow of the doctors apt. Wish us luck. :)
