Happy Birthday to me!

Sept 13th was my 22nd birthday and it was an eventful day. We woke up that morning and Kyle went to work for a little bit to earn some extra money and after I opened my gifts I saw why. While he went to work, I went to school so I could study a little bit. Then we went out to lunch with the coolest, most awesomest girl named Analee Ashby from work to Tucanos Brazilian restuarant. She was soo much fun to go to lunch with! lol (Is that better missy?) After that we went to the BYU football game vs. UCLA. It was suppose to be a good game but no, we killed them like 52-0 or something. It was so stinking hot outside so I was kinda falling asleep. After that, we went back home and opened gifts before we went to the Orem Owlz baseball game. Then we came home and were so exhausted we both just crashed. Scroll down to see how funny Kyle is....

So I told Kyle to surprise me with my gifts this year b/c I NEVER get surprises. So he brought them in one by one in a big black plastic bag ( we called that the Debby method) lol.

So this is why I don't like surprised b/c they are so random that I don't know how to respond. Kyle is so dang cute tho. He was like...I HAD THIS PICKED OUT FOR SOOOO LONG!! The reason behind it is that I can't fall asleep super fast so I read or study in bed and I have a bad neck so Kyle thought a back pillow was an awesome gift, which by the way, i do love it! It was just so random. And he made sure he picked out the perfect color to match our bedspread. haha, I love him to much.

So I think this gift was addressed to Kyle b/c it is a surround sound that he found on sale. haha It's still in the box because I'm not sure we can afford this at the moment. We shall see. My face was good on this one. I was like... OOoohh, um...

Kyle got me one more and it was a photo printer for my camera. That is still in the box too b/c I hate spending $$$ on me. I'm still trying to decide. But thank you Kyle for all the thought and $$ you put into my birthday!

This was the best part. I read this card and couldn't stop laughing. This is the front...

This is was it said inside. Do you see whats wrong with it? Kyle felt pretty stupid but I eventually got him to laugh with me. He said,"No wonder the dang card didn't make sense to me. hahaha". Gotta love him! I let it slide this one time. Dun..dun..dun

This was the end of our night at the baseball game. Thanks honey, I love you!

Camping

(Wow, I look rough...but thats what its all about right?)

So this was a while ago but I haven't had time to blog it. This was over Labor Day weekend so we went to Fish lake where Kyle had his big hunt to scout out some elk. Kyle, Dad, and I left on Friday night and Morgan and Heidi met us up there Sunday afternoon and we all left on Monday. It was nice during the days and cold at night. Heidi had never been "real" camping so we thought it would be fun for her to learn how to rough it. Please excuse these pictures. I didn't bring one stitch of make-up and no shower for 4 days!! Beautiful I tell ya.

Boys got in Trouble!

Having fun around the camp fire, well, Heidi doesn't look like shes having fun. haha

Yeah! We caught a fish.

Dad looks transparent in this picture, it was pretty cool.

I'm trying to teach Heidi how to put a tent up, or maybe how to rope a bull. lol. We dressed her up REAL good so she wouldn't get cold on our 4 wheeler ride. She looks like the little boy from the Christmas Story. haha

We had fun. We looked for animals in the am and pm and during the day we ate, played games, and just hung out. I'm glad we were able to educated Heidi on what camping is all about!

Update:

So just a quick update since my totally awesome Boyz 2 Men concert. School started and after taking a 2 1/2 year break, I finally decided it was my turn to go back. I'm starting slowly and am just taking an Anatomy class, which by the way, is said to be the hardest one in Utah! Go figure. I'm surprisingly doing okay but I have my 1st test tonight so we shall see. Wish me luck!! And then I plan on applying for nusring schools shortly. Kyle....is shaking out of his boots. He has his HUGE Elk hunt this week that he has been waiting for for over 13 years. He is soo excited. I was suppose to go with him but I got sick this week and I have lots of studying to do. He leaves today for a WHOLE week. We have never been apart that long. Man, I have a whole King size bed....all to myself. lol jk. I will miss him tons and its kinda scary b/c he won't have reception so I don't know if he will be okay or not. With me working in the ER, everytime I hear an ambulance I wonder if its my family. Anyways....GOOD LUCK to Kyle. He's going to make me proud and kill us a trophy elk (or else he can't come home!) jk again. If anyone wants to buy some elk meat, let us know. So this has been our focus for the past little while. If your not familiar with hunting...it costs ALOT of money for preperations, clothing, food, the actual hunting permit, and then after you kill the thing, lots more money. But I know how important this is for him and I am so excited for him to have the time of his life. P.s. If anyone is bored... I will be lonely for a whole week. Let me know :) P.s.s. Birthday pictures are coming next.

Boys II Men... Back again!!

So, I have been waiting for this moment for a long time!!! Boys II Men came to Orem, Utah and I think I was the biggest advertisement they had. I was soooo excited when I heard they were coming. Katy was leaving on her honeymoon and I told her she HAD to be back for this momentous occation! lol It was perfect that she married a guy who also loves Boys 2 Men. So we went to the concert and didn't have the greatest seats cuz it was a packed house. So they started singing and Katy and I were going bananas! All of a sudden, I was up in the middle of the isle way dancing and singing and then they were dancing and BAM... I just started running towards them and next thing I knew... I was at the front of the stage. Kyle is such a wonerful husband that he just laughed at me and then went and bought me a backstage pass so I could meet them! Katy's new husband jumped in and bought her one too. So after the show, we were like kids in a candy shop! We got pictures and it was AWESOME!!! Love you Boyz II Men!! hahaha
